The red bench, in blood colour, symbolizes the place occupied by a woman who is no more. The red bench keeps her alive, while raising awareness on male violence and femicide. It keeps alive the presence of the victim in a public garden, in a square, in front of a school or hospital, a court or a museum, in a shopping centre, as long as it is positioned near paths or rest areas.2
