Photocatalysis is a natural process that accelerates the oxidation processes already existing in nature, by exploiting light energy, and favours the decomposition of pollutants in the environment.

Laboratory tests carried out on buildings or floors made with this material show an improvement in air quality in polluted urban environments and certify that, over time, the artifacts are preserved from degradation caused by atmospheric agents.
