DOOR TO THE SEA: A NEW SHOPPING CENTRE IN LIVORNO, TUSCANY.

Last September the city of Livorno celebrated a new opening: the shopping hub "Porta a Mare", literally "Door to the Sea", has been recovered from the ancient shipyards.

Calzolari curated the outdoor space by installing Folia and Andromeda concrete seatings, Andromeda concrete planters of various shapes and sizes and concrete litter bins, all protected with anti-graffiti coating.

For the internal shopping gallery Calzolari designed an 8m long "made-to-measure" seating in steel and exotic wood equipped with power outlets.

Our concrete street furniture is particularly suitable for use in sea areas as it offers excellent resistance to salt-laden environments and the most aggressive atmospheric agents.
